How many January's have come around and you've made a promise to yourself? And how many times have you broken that promise? Me too! This year my promise is very different to anything I've done before.
In light of a global pandemic, just like many others my life has been thrown into chaos, but it's not all bad. Whilst I may be living financially on the edge, in and out of lockdown, and unable to spend time with the ones I love, something special has been born. That something is Juniper Wellness.
NICE TO MEET YOU
Before I start, I should tell you a bit about myself. Hi! My name is Lyndsey and it's nice to meet you. I live with my fiancé Stewart (who can drive me absolutely insane, but also has some of the most amazing qualities I could have ever asked for), and my two little moggies, Bertie and Bella. I am also lucky enough to have the two most beautiful nieces in the entire world, and for me, not being able to spend time with them has probably been the hardest thing about lockdown and tier control!
For many years now I have worked as a massage therapist and am well aware of the effects that massage, physical touch and general 'pampering' can have on us. Throughout my years working as a therapist I became more interested in wellness as a whole, and took a look at what else affects us, influences our mood, our health, our mental state and our relationships. This led on to me completing a course to become a health and wellness consultant, and so Juniper Wellness was born! For those of you that didn't know, I am the 'Juniper' in Juniper Wellness.

MY BLOG
Every week or so I would like to look at a topic that affects us all. This could be absolutely anything, and will range from exercise and diet, to relaxation, stress management and personal care, so if you have an area that you are really interested in, please let me know. I would love to hear from you, so get in touch at lyndsey@juniperwellness.co.uk. You can also find me on Instagram most days so come on over and join me!
Over the next few weeks I am going to look at lockdown and staying at home to discover what effect it has had on us. Do you feel anxious about the “new normal” or did you enjoy time at home, taking advantage of the wonderful summer that we had? I would like to see how our priorities have changed, what has become important to us and what we have learnt to live without. If you have any thoughts on this – let me know!
I can’t wait to get acquainted with you and look forward to seeing you next time.
Love from, Lyndsey x
